Her hobbies include scuba diving and singing karaoke with her friends. She also loves to travel with her family and two Pomeranians, Eevee and Arya.

Cardiology is a branch of internal medicine focused on the heart and blood vessels. It has grown with the development of improved diagnostic tools. Veterinary cardiologist Dr. Allison Ong was born and raised in Hawaii. She is a graduate of Punahou School and received her Bachelors Degree in Zoology from the University of Hawaii before graduating from the University of Minnesota with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She currently lives in Kaneohe with her husband, son and two dogs. Their menagerie of pets includes rabbits, lovebirds, cockatiels, quails, Jackson chameleons, and fish.

It encompasses everything from movement disorders to memory problems and more. The nervous system controls the workings of your entire body, so any problem with it can have a serious effect on you.
Your doctor can diagnose neurological problems with a variety of tests. These include computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, electroencephalography (EEG), and ultrasound imaging. They can also use a procedure called lumbar puncture to remove a small amount of cerebrospinal fluid and examine it for blood or infection. They can also perform muscle or nerve biopsies to diagnose certain neuromuscular disorders.
